GRATUITIES AND TIPPING
Like any service industry employee, our staff appreciates a tip for exceeding your expectations. This is done easily without any awkwardness at WT. Because our guides move to another resort job after guiding, you will have an opportunity to tip at our "quest questionaire" location. You wil find a questionaire, paper, pen, envelopes and a drop safe for your convenience. We want to continually improve and Joe and Joanne read every guest comment. As a general rule, most of our guests tip about 15%, the same as a server or bartender. Some tip more considering the guide is important to providing as safe and fun filled experience as possible.

INCLUDED IN YOUR TRIP
All river trips are 4-6 hours long and include paddle, life jacket, helmet and guide service. Packages include meals, campsite (or accommodations if renting) and facility use. Facility use is included for daytrippers only on trip day.

HOW TO DRESS FOR YOUR TRIP
We paddle rain or shine and never cancel due to weather. We STRONGLY recommend low cut running shoes, shorts or bathing suit, WOOL sweater and NYLON windbreaker. COTTON MAKES YOU COOL AND IS NOT ADVISABLE. Wetsuits are complimentary in May and September. In the summer we recommend you rent (on site) a full or half suit depending on the weather. Eyeglasses must be secured.

WHAT TO BRING OVERNIGHTING
If you’re camping, bring tent, sleeping bag, foam pad, pillow, flashlight, folding camp chairs and towel. Our rental accommodations include all bedding and towels. Everyone should bring flashlight, wind up alarm and warm clothing for evenings. As Wilderness Tours is strictly an adult venue on weekends, we recommend a minimum age of 19 for Friday, Saturday and Holiday evenings.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
Accommodation, wetsuit and kayak school equipment rental require credit card imprint security deposit. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

KAYAK SCHOOL
Your course includes meals, facility use and camping (if you’re not renting accommodation). We strongly recommend KS students rent accommodation to ensure a good night’s sleep for this intense and demanding program. Accommodation rates are discounted for KS students, mid-week.

LATE ARRIVALS
Reception is open until 9pm daily and later on Thursday & Friday evenings. Late arrivals renting accommodation will be escorted to their unit by security. Late arriving campers will camp near the entrance in our late arrival area and move to their assigned site in the morning.

MEALS
Day Trips include either lunch on the river or after the trip depending on start time. Packages include all appropriate meals from a set menu with a large salad bar. There is a vegetarian alternative at every meal even on the river and special meals to accomodate allergies are available if prebooked as part of the reservation. Our dining facility is licensed serving a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. Kids meals are available on family packages. Location of meals is at the discretion of Wilderness Tours.

ALCOHOL
Drinking is not permitted before or during your trip. Anyone who is drinking or appears to be even slightly intoxicated before the trip will be denied participation. Refunds or alternate dates will not be given. Our restaurant is licensed; alternatively guests are permitted to bring along alcoholic beverages for personal enjoyment at their campsites or cabins. Public intoxication is not permitted and those who appear intoxicated must remain in their cabin or tent. Drinking is prohibited after 1 am for those rafting the next day. For your safety, glass bottles are not permitted.

*PHOTO/VIDEO SERVICE
