You’ll find the best equipment including self-bailing MARAVIA rafts, chosen to supply the famous river movie, RIVER WILD. We use professional river running helmets and comfortable harness type life jackets. Our guides are simply the best in the business. They are First Aid, CPR and SRT (Swiftwater Rescue Technician) qualified. Equally important, WT guides are friendly, informative and live our mission of "SHARING THE MAGIC FOUND IN WHITEWATER" through teamwork and team building with our guests.
Finally, we are committed to the preservation of the last wild section of the Ottawa River, the Rocher-Fendu. To date we have singlehandedly placed almost 4,000 acres into the WT LAND TRUST. We call it "Living with Champlain’s Ghost". Every spare dollar we make adds to the Land Trust. Thank you for your support.
WILDERNESS TOURS offers much more than just rafting - guests can enjoy mountain biking, bungee jumping, kayaking, and much more. Anyone coming on site must purchase a rafting package or an activity day pass, there is no entry without a wrist band.
In addition to weddings, parties etc there are many kayaking events on the Ottawa River this year. World Freestyle Kayaking Championships April 28th - May 5th, 2007.
