ABOUT WILDERNESS TOURS Wilderness Tours pioneered whitewater rafting on the Ottawa River in 1975. Since then the Ottawa has become Canada’s most popular rafting and kayaking destination and Wilderness Tours has evolved into its premier adventure resort company. Being first on the river enabled WT to acquire the most spectacular locations. Those special places are available to you on your special day. A real chapel is in our future but for now our weddings are held in nature’s cathedral. A WT wedding is popular choice for couples beyond great value. TENT RENTAL Weddings at Wilderness Tours are "open air" or under attractive wedding tents. Wedding tents are available for rent.

LOCATIONS for large weddings (20 - 200) Wilderness Tours has several locations for weddings as small as the bride and groom and as large as 200, all with their special character:

RAFTERS Rafters is the heart of our resort featuring indoor licensed dining, lounge with fireplace, games room, movie amphitheater, large sun deck, pool, hot tubs and boutique. Rafters’ main dining room seats 120 and is available in part from May through October and entirely October. Rafters’ private South Patio seats 30 and is available anytime from May through October. Ceremony can take place at Rafters Amphitheater (all weather) or Rafters Campfire Circle (open air).
Rental fee for Rafters is $950 Rental fee for Rafters South Patio is $300

PRESQU’ILE PAVILION The Pavilion is a large circular open air covered pavilion seating 200 complete with its own food service and bar. Adjacent to the Pavilion is the open air amphitheater with stage, perfect for the ceremony with a spectacular backdrop overlooking the river. The Pavilion is available from May through September (except August long weekend). Rental fee for the Pavilion is $2,450. It is set up with heavy picnic tables, perfect for an open air wedding. There are side awnings which can be lowered in the event of cool or wet weather.

PRESQU’ILE BEACH AND BEACH SHED The Beach is the jewel of the Resort Centre offering both indoor and covered outdoor seating for 50. It is a truly fabulous spot for a summer wedding right on the beach steps from the water. Ceremony can take place under cover on the deck in case of inclement weather or on the beach. Rental fee for the Beach and Beach Shed is $500
