Some time ago Algonquin College quietly inspected all the adventure companies in the Ottawa Valley looking for a service provider for the college’s new 2 year diploma program in Outdoor Adventure. At the end of that exhaustive search WT was chosen. In 6 short years, the program is the college’s most popular attracting hundreds of applicants each year. The programs offered to high school and elementary schools are based on the Algonquin College curriculum respecting the age and ability of younger students. YOUR STUDENTS COULD NOT BE IN BETTER CARE!
Our programs are especially ideal for Grade 10 Career Choices study and students wanting to experience part of Ontario’s PASS PROGRAM "up close and personal".
WT has been providing teachers with relevant, curriculum-based, experiential learning programs for over 30 years. We have introduced more than a million enthusiasts to our programs. Let us "share the magic" found in outdoor education with your school!

Now that the school year is over, and the dust has finally settled, I wanted to be sure to thank you & the entire Wilderness Tours staff for, what was, one the BEST WT experiences in our 12 years of visiting your outstanding facility. Every aspect of the trip was impeccably attended to- the wonderfully entertaining and skilled guides, the heated pool (which the kids thoroughly enjoyed ..especially this year!), the hot tubs, beach kayaks & paddle boats, "rock" climbing wall, well cleaned & maintained bathroom facilities and cabins, and ..of course... the OUTSTANDING food! WT continues to provide a safe, educational, and thrilling experience for the over 120 parents, students, and staff of Kenmore East High School. Let me thank you again, for your assistance and attention to detail in providing for what is, without question, the highlight of our 3-Day Experiential Tour of NYS and the Canadian Shield!
